It’s one islands

The boat was drifting
Wind was down
The channel came alive
And made a sound.

I picked up a signal from the shore.
Came this way to try to learn some more.

I reached the beach,
And saw the stranger.

They didn’t answer.

But pointed to the tower,
The antenna rising high above
The trees

Who was that voice,
What was that sound,
Is it alive?
